AVTECH Sweden AB expands and reorganizes AVTECH assists customers reducing aviation Green House Gas emissions, noise and increases operational efficiency with products and services is expanding and reorganizing to meet increasing demand. On January first 2010 David Alvord becomes Chief Executive Officer of AVTECH Sweden AB. David takes over the CEO role from Anders Palm who will lead the operational expansion as Chief Operations Officer. The new organizations - positions in Stockholm and Toulouse (AVTECH France SARL) will be presented on January 5th 2010. Anders Palm has been with AVTECH Sweden AB for over ten years taking over the CEO position from the founder of AVTECH, Lars GV Lindberg, three years ago, and has lead AVTECH’s geographical expansion as well as the development of products and simulations. “Anders has done a great job as CEO leading the company transition from a pure consultant company to a company that is providing both services and products on the global market. Anders will now focus on the operational role as COO and the continued expansion of AVTECH", says Lars GV Lindberg AVTECH founder and President. David Alvord is a US citizen that is no stranger to Sweden, this is the third time working in Sweden, previously he has, among others, been Business Unit Manager (VP) of a $40M Swedish division. David has a solid aviation experience as an Aeronautics Engineer who flew heavy transports worldwide as a pilot with the US Air Force. He has also been working for Naverus, Boeing and NASA - Ames Research Center. In addition to his aviation experience does he has vast management & leadership experience starting with an MBA, cofounder of a high technology company, and positions with several leading American companies. David joins AVTECH from Airspace Partners LLC, Seattle, which are focused on developing Performance Based Operations (PBO) worldwide where he was one of the Founding Partners. “I am very pleased to join AVTECH Sweden with their visionary development of Trajectory Based Operations, TBO, where they are the leading way for reducing fuel burn for the operators resulting in a reduction in Green House Gas emissions. This together with their ability to take ideas from their "think-tank", refine them in their simulators, and then prove the concept in trials makes them an environmental analyzer powerhouse for the aviation industry.
